Entitled A CROSS-FAITH TRAJECTORY into ISLAMIC ART
In which they share their unique perspectives as a Hindu and a Jewish creative practicing Islamic Art.
—I will discuss my journey being Indian American, being the daughter of Indian immigrants (my father is a Hindu Temple builder/priest), a Parsons graduate, my work in the fashion/graphic/museum/skateboarding/luxury industries, to my journey into Arabic/Islamic Calligraphy, becoming a Hindu Spiritual Advisor, my friendship with an Imam & Sheikha, interfaith religious/cultural practices between Hindus & Muslims in India, and why all these life experiences influence my artistic practices!
