CONCEPT :

Lord Ganesha is the remover of all obstacles, the lord of new beginnings, wisdom, and the first deity one pays
obeisance in Hinduism regardless of any tradition one follows.

He is the symbolic form of the sound or word “OHM” the first sound of creation and is described as OMKARA or AUMKARA who has the form of “OHM” which is infinite and signifies the essence of the ultimate reality,
consciousness, or Atman (Soul).

The symbol of “OHM” is also seen in the shape of Lord Ganesha’s elephant heard.

This design has “OHM” written in Kannada language calligraphy behind the dancing Ganesha with a prayer written
below which says “Shri Ganeshaya Namaha” or praise to Lord Ganesha in Kannada.

Kannada language was used since this Dancing Ganesha dates from 1500-1700 AD from the South Indian State of Karnataka. Kannada is the language spoken in Karnataka state of India.
